What will I learn?
Neural Networks and Deep Learning are empowering significant and rapid change for businesses across all sectors and industries. If you want to break into cutting-edge AI, this course will help you do so. Deep learning engineers are highly sought after and mastering deep learning will give you numerous new career opportunities. Deep learning is also a new ‘superpower’ that will let you build AI systems that just were not possible a few years ago.
Take the Learnful Professional Diploma in Deep Learning to understand this hugely in-demand and influential field.
During your first class, you will explore the course content and format, including what you can expect from the programme and how it is assessed. You will be given an overview of Deep Learning concepts.
Learn about neurons, perception and parameters and know about a typical supervised machine learning setup.
Learn what backpropagation is and understand gradient descents with respect to output units, hidden units and parameters.
Learn what principal component analysis is and understand the link between autoencoders and PCA.
An introduction to computer vision through to understanding why to augment datasets. Learn image load datassets, how to build your first CNN and visualise the training results. An introduction to OpenCV including image processing and detecting edges.
Understand how to play with texts by representing texts as numbers, encoding and generating text using RNN.
Learn how to read the audio file and labels and evaluate the model.
Understand neural style transformation, model building and style extraction.
Learn bagging, boosting and stacking and understand why, when and how to perform them.
Introduction to Pytorch and Fast AI.
During your final class, the subject matter expert will summarise the key topics covered during the programme. The Assessment will be outlined in detail with plenty of opportunity to ask any clarifying questions.

Why should I enrol?
Deep learning has shown its success in many areas including computer vision, speech and audio processing, natural language processing, robotics, bioinformatics and chemistry, video games, search engines, online advertising and finance.
Deep learning is a particular kind of machine learning technique that allows computer systems to improve with experience and data and achieves great power and flexibility by learning to represent the world as a nested hierarchy of concepts.
In recent years, deep learning has seen tremendous growth in its popularity and usefulness, due in large to more powerful computers, larger datasets and techniques to train deeper networks.
Enrol NowWhat jobs will this programme prepare me for?
The world has more than 3.6 billion images searched, almost 500 million tweets are tweeted, 300 hours of videos uploaded and 5 billion videos are watched on the internet every single day. Such data has become very useful and crucial to understand, analyse, pre-process and predict humans’ behaviour for companies ranging from small scale to tech giants and multinational companies. While the data is big and the demand of these skills is very high, the industries are lagging with human resources possessing such advanced skills. Dublin, colloquially known as the Silicon Valley of Europe, has offices of Google, Amazon, IBM, Intel and other software companies where deep learning is still number one technology.
The Professional Diploma in Deep Learning will prepare you for jobs in the field of Computer Vision Engineer, Machine Vision Engineer, Text Mining Engineer, Data Scientist and Research and development centres.
